Pyrus calleryana (Callery pear) is a tree (family Rosaceae) with white flowers and oval-shaped leaves found in the Central Valley of California. It is native to China and Vietnam. It favors grasslands and woodlands. It spreads via seeds and root suckers. Seeds are dispersed from ornamental trees via birds.
