Set in the Sierra Nevada at 5,000 feet elevation, the Tenaya Lodge will provide our conference meeting space and overnight lodging. The lodge is three miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Our room block at Tenaya Lodge is full. (You can check there in case someone cancels.) We recommend that you find lodging at one of the nearby alternatives listed below.

Reservations: If you want a room at Tenaya Lodge for Tuesday or Saturday nights, call 800-635-5807 and mention the "Cal-IPC 2016 Symposium" or group code 31091A to receive our discounted rate ($90 Tuesday, $119 Saturday, plus $15 per additional person plus tax and $10/day resort fee). Reservations should be made by phone; their online reservation system has not been reliable for accessing the room block.

Planning your visit

The entrance to Yosemite National Park is just three miles away. Five miles further is the Big Tree Lodge (formerly known as the Wawona Hotel) and 30 miles more brings you to Yosemite Valley.
